My girls and I ran the Tyler3Miler today around Windsor Lake at Boardwalk Park. I did well. I finished second female overall. The band was out in full force, playing wonderful background music to cheer us on. The race raised money for the band and scholarships for band members. Always fun to run for a good cause, AND it was a gorgeous day for a race!

I just want to thank those who voted for me for the Windsor Town Board.
As you all know, I lost. I appreciate your support, and I will continue to serve on the Board of Adjustments for this great town.
As for the future, I’m unsure. I’m praying about what to do next as I truly believed God wanted me to serve as a Board member (it’s obvious I was mistaken now).
I’m also unsure what to do with this site. I started it with the intent to keep you all informed of what was happening when I was on the Town Board. I will do my best to continue in that capacity although the Town Board does have information privy only to them.
I am also looking for other ways to serve so send ideas my way!!
Again, thank you to all who voted for me. I’m eternally grateful for your support.

The current town manager for Cortez, CO, Mr. Hale’s first day in Windsor is June 4th.
I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Hale and his wonderful family at the Meet the Finalists forum last week. Windsor will be very lucky to have him, and I’m sure he will hit the ground running!

The Town Board of Windsor utilizes many different Town Boards and Commissions to review projects, gather information, and make recommendations. These are all volunteer-based, which pulls from the community at large. This is an amazing opportunity for residents to lend their skills and talents to help their communities.
Once a year we all gather for a thank-you dinner. These are always fun to see one another, put names with faces, and recognize the time invested. Last night we gathered at the Embassy Suites in Loveland for a wonderful dinner and acknowledgments.
Our thank-you prize this year was a coffee tumbler with gift cards inside! I’m SO excited about this because 1) as you know I’m obsessed with coffee and 2) one of the gift cards was Starbucks!!! 3) the other gift card was to Mr. Yo’s Donuts so when I returned home and informed my kids of this, they were ecstatic!!
I would like to personally thank all of the volunteers on their respective boards. These are passionate people who donate their time and efforts to making Windsor an amazing community. It was so good to see everyone last night and learn a bit more about what everyone does. Thank you for your service and see you at Starbucks!!
